Afr J Prm Health Care Fam Med. 2025;17(1), a4943. <ext-link ext-link-type="uri" xlink:href="https://doi.org/10.4102/phcfm.v17i1.4943">https://doi.org/10.4102/phcfm.v17i1.4943</ext-link>, on page 5, under the heading &#x2018;Choice of antibiotic and payment method&#x2019;, the following was incorrectly formulated.</p>
<p>Instead of:</p>
<p>Both generic and originator brands for fosfomycin (originator, <italic>n</italic> = 102; generic, <italic>n</italic> = 157) and nitrofurantoin (originator, <italic>n</italic> = 62; generic, <italic>n</italic> = 62) were dispensed.</p>
<p>It should be:</p>
<p>Both generic and originator brands for fosfomycin (originator, <italic>n</italic> = 102; generic, <italic>n</italic> = 157) and nitrofurantoin (originator, <italic>n</italic> = 62; generic, <italic>n</italic> = 62) were dispensed. Correct formula is (originator, <italic>n</italic> = 102; generic, <italic>n</italic> = 157) and nitrofurantoin (originator, <italic>n</italic> = 82; generic, <italic>n</italic> = 24).</p>
<p>On page 6, paragraph 4, there was a spelling mistake. Instead of: Etitrea, the correct spelling is: Eritrea.</p>
<p>On page 3, <xref ref-type="table" rid="T0001">Table 1</xref>, Nitrofurantoin was listed twice and Levofloxacin was misspelt.</p>
